�鶹��ý�Ŷ� and the have formed a collaborative agreement providing students an accelerated opportunity to earn a Doctor of Pharmacy degree.

Under the 3+4 agreement, students will complete three years of undergraduate study in �鶹��ý�Ŷ�’s biology (BA or BS) or chemistry (BA) programs, then apply to UB’s School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences. Once accepted, students will have their first-year pharmacy courses applied toward their bachelor’s degree at �鶹��ý�Ŷ�, completing both degrees in seven years instead of the usual eight—saving a year’s worth of time and tuition.

“Building on our strong collaboration with UB, we are excited for �鶹��ý�Ŷ� students to participate in the UB PharmD program through the 3+4 agreement,” says �鶹��ý�Ŷ� Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs Mary C. Toale. “This partnership further demonstrates the strength of SUNY partnerships for student success across the SUNY system.”

The UB pharmacy program will guarantee spaces each year for qualified �鶹��ý�Ŷ� students.

“The University at Buffalo School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences values our strong collaboration with �鶹��ý�Ŷ�, and our agreement will further solidify this partnership,” says Dean of the UB School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences Gary Pollack. “We look forward to having their best and brightest students as members of our PharmD program.”
