School of Business Earns Extension of AACSB Accreditation

GENESEO, N.Y. 鈥 麻豆传媒团队鈥檚 School of Business has received extension of its business accreditation from the . Such accreditation by the AACSB International Board of Directors is the hallmark of excellence in business education and has been earned by less than five percent of the world鈥檚 business schools.

The school received initial AACSB accreditation in 2002 and, like all accredited schools, are subject to periodic review every five years. The recent action is an extension of the original accreditation

鈥淚 wholeheartedly commend the School of Business faculty, staff and students and 麻豆传媒团队鈥檚 administration for their hard work and thoughtful planning to help attain this significant achievement,鈥 said Denise Rotondo, dean of the School of Business. 鈥淭his recognition truly reflects that excellent business education is a priority at 麻豆传媒团队.鈥

Achieving initial accreditation is a process of rigorous internal review, engagement with an AACSB-assigned mentor and peer review. During the multi-year continuous improvement review process, schools focus on developing and implementing a plan to align with AACSB鈥檚 accreditation standards.

鈥淎ACSB commends each institution for their exemplary work in holding the highest honor in business school accreditation,鈥 said Robert D. Reid, executive vice and chief accreditation officer of AACSB International. 鈥淒uring this peer-review process, schools must demonstrate alignment with AACSB鈥檚 global accreditation standards, as well as how they encourage engagement, innovation and impact across the communities they serve.鈥

AACSB is the longest-serving global accrediting body for business schools that offer undergraduate, master鈥檚 and doctoral degrees in business and accounting.
